Sources said, because they look like the traditional incandescent bulbs, so the home led lighting in Europe and the United States, the demand of the market expanding, mainly used in churches, restaurants, retail stores and hotels and other decorative lighting;In addition, the European Union plans to eliminate halogen lamps by 2018, and has also pushed for the region's demand for LED filament lamps between 2016 and 2017.
In view of this background, many Chinese LED packaging manufacturers including in China have been actively expanding the production capacity of LED filament lamps to meet the rapidly growing market demand.
According to the source, the annual production of the LED filament lamp will be about 12 million units, and will be expanded to 2000-30 million in 2018.The LED filament chip is mainly provided by Taiwan's crystal.The main products of the laminsen LED filament lamps include OEM customers and their own brand business, Forest Lighting, and Ledvance, a German subsidiary.
In 2017, Chinese manufacturers will ship less than 500 million LED lights, but the number is expected to rise to 7-800 million units in 2018, with wood linson accounting for nearly 10 percent.
